The vehicles we are going to focus on donating will fall into three basic categories, Hot-Rod, Muscle Car or Four-Wheel Drive

We will find the fine line between a classic customized vehicle and  a reliable daily driver

Design
Gull wing or Lamborghini Style driver side door, depending on the vehicle

This will allow the driver to either load parallel to the car facing forward, or load  the car perpendicular from the side, thus allowing the soldier to use a regular  parking spot  if there
are no handicap parking spots available or if the soldier just does not want to be considered handicapped for the day

Modular turn-table style chairlift
The chairlift will be of a modular design which will allow us to use the same basic lift with only minor modifications depending on the vehicle or the physical characteristics of the soldier we are designing the car for

Being a turntable style lift the soldier will be able to take full advantage of the custom door opening from multiple directions

While in our research and development stage we will use a combination of Linear, Hydraulic and Pneudraulic Actuators to ensure we use the most efficient of the three or combination
 of them

Wheel locks will be incorporated into the base of the table to ensure the wheelchair is secure while the lift is in transit as well as while the vehicle is moving

The lift will have redundancies built into the system as well as mechanical safety devices with a means of operating the lift manually if required

Wheelchairs
We are in hopes of being able to utilize one of the many styles of wheelchairs available to help contain costs and beside we hate to have to reinvent the wheel if something is available of the shelf

Hand and foot controls will be state of the art digital controls to ensure soldiers will be able to operate the vehicle safely and with ease. Digital controls will eliminate the use of  the mechanical menagerie that is associated with manual hand controls

Power-Train
Engines will be Crate Engines from major manufactures
The use of crate engines will allow the heart of the vehicle to have a warranty of several years
Of course we will use professionally built automatic transmissions
This will ensure a solid and sound warranty comes with the transmission as well

Though we are located in the mountains of Montana, logistics have not had any negative impact on our program as of this date
The use of the Internet and the dependable delivery of UPS have been a great asset
